A Snyderola Film

The Tools is a short film in mockumentary-style about Gregory Pecker and his students. "Pecker" is an actor trained in the method, the classics, and all of the knowledge of "the craft," who gives real acting lessons to adult film stars. Features special appearances by adult industry veterans Shanna McCullough, Roy Karch and Jonny Dunne.

Written, produced and directed by Ggreg Snyder. Cinematography by Nickolas Rossi. Shot on location in Los Angeles, California.

Gregory Pecker (Ggreg Snyder) - Those who an do... those who can't, teach. Gregory Pecker once tried to be "male talent" in the adult industry, but failed due to his "inability to perform" on camera. He now teachers the "tools" of adult performance to a group of eager students.

Steve Billy (Aaron Lodge) - A veteran of 18 years in adult performance, Steve always tries to stay one step ahead, be it controversial and/or unethical youth rejuventation surgeries or lessons from Pecker.

Sugar Blewitt (Dani Morales) - As the reigning princess of the barely legal scene, Sugar (who enjoys an arrested state of psychological development) attends Pecker's class because she's always got to be doing something.

Buffy Bushmill (Georgia Van Cuylenburg) - Buffy is already successful in the adult entertainment world, but aspires to be an even bigger star, the next Jenna Jameson. Thus, she has come to Pecker for guidance and mentorship.

Chapeau (Bryan Burgess) - Chapeau is a man with a dream... to create a fusion between mime and porn. To what end is the question that he attempts to answer through his work with Pecker.

Lusty Lohan (Erin Coleman) - Lusty was in L.A. to be a very serious actress, but after four months working only as a celebrity impersonator, she decided that she had to practice her "craft" somewhere, and turned to porn.

Rex Ramrod (Ric Rosario) - After giving up his promising career as an accountant at a glass factory, Rex found himself in Pecker's class, determined to be a male porn star (despite his lack of "gifts.")

Shanna McCullough (herself) - Despite having retired from performing after over 300 appearances in adult films, Shanna is a legend in the adult business and one of the rare performers to whom time has been more than kind. She discusses Pecker's aborted past as male talent in the adult industry and her feelings about his class.

Roy Karch (himself) - Roy has directed almost 200 titles, mostly for Adam & Eve. He shares his experiences working on the set with Pecker and tells us how important his acting workshop is.

R.J. Grindlinger aka Jonny Dunne (himself) - Jonny has cut smut for Hustler, VCA, Max Hardcore, Adam & Eve and many others, but is also a mainstream, classically-trained actor. He shares his role in the creation of the Gregory Pecker acting school.

About the director: Ggreg Snyder was born in San Jose, California and raised in nearby Los Gatos. He attended San Francisco State University and received a BA in Drama Education in 1987. He has also attended UCLA and Washington State University.

Ggreg has enjoyed an eccentric acting career. In his two most notorious peformances, he played himself, which can't really be called acting. Fans of Comedy Central's Beat the Geeks may remember him as the Saturday Morning TV Geek, whereas Star Trek afficionados might have seen him interviewed in the Roger Nygard documentary Trekkies 2, in which he discussed his theatrical production of Romeo and Juliet, presented in the style of the original Star Trek series. He has also written for National Lampoon magazine and Jay Leno's The Tonight Show monologue.

BIn 1988, Ggreg left the Bay Area for Los Angeles, with the intention of becoming a film maker. In 2007, he has finally finished his first production, The Tools.
